About me

Hi there. I'm an Artist and California-native currently living and working in the Oakland Hills. Specializing in two-dimensional art, my studio is typically full of anthropomorphized paintings and drawings of goats, bears, deer, foxes, bison and many other furry creatures, but I also paint more traditional portraits of people, animals, and nudes. Recent projects have led me to work with musicians on album artwork and poster designs. I've been working professionally as an artist since graduating from San Francisco State University in 2008 with a degree in Studio Art. After receiving my teaching credential for Art from CSU, Chico in 2010 I have been educating high school students and providing private painting and drawing lessons to all ages and skill levels in Oakland, San Francisco and the East Bay. In tandem to teaching and creating my own work, I curate local artists' work at Bica Coffeehouse in Oakland.  And when I'm not building my Art empire, I'm writing creatively, picking some banjo strings, strumming a guitar, walking through the woods or baking a pie.
